Each Kiwanis Club in the district sets the dues amount for membership in their club. The annual dues are collected by the club and then the club is billed for International and District dues (broken down below). This billing is based off of the number of club members at the beginning of the Kiwanis year (October).
Here is an example of club dues and how they are distributed. Annual club dues for the Kiwanis Club of Botany Bay are $168.00 per year. The club collects this amount from each member. The club is billed (normally in November each year) for the Kiwanis International ($107.00) & District ($33.00) dues or $140.00 total. The remaining $28.00 of the dues ($168.00 – $140.00) remains with the club for them to use in the operations and projects of the club.
These will be the fees for the 2025-2026 Kiwanis year.

A fantastic program! Please take time to read!At last Thursday’s meeting, we enjoyed hearing from Kris Erdman, manager of Fareway Stores Basehor, about the company’s culture, its investment in young employees, and its growing connection to our community. Kris has been with Fareway for 20 years and shared how the company gives employees opportunities to grow from an early age, including hiring teens as young as 14 and helping them build responsibility, communication skills, and confidence through real-world work experience. They also hire local talent and give options to transfer stores when people move.
We also appreciated learning more about Fareway’s commitment to giving back to our community. Through register round-ups and company matching, the Basehor store helped raise roughly $12,000–$13,000 for BLAS. They also offered buy a bag donations that were tailored to the specific needs of local families. (It is probably going to happen again this holiday season!) Fareway also supports organizations like Variety Children’s Charity and Toys for Tots, while encouraging stores to support causes close to home. And they’ve supported our Terrific Kids celebrations too, helping kids learn the importance of goal setting and achieving! It was great to hear how seriously Kris and his team take Fareway’s role as a small-town grocery store and community partner. ... See MoreSee Less
